Basic Qualification Course

RARC offers its annual radio course for Basic Qualification operator certificate every February. (2018 course start date to be confirmed.) The course consists of about 18 hours of instructions divided into six Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon, with the seventh Saturday for the exam. Please revisit this page in November as more details onthe radio course becomes available. Course Information

Classes are conducted by a faculty of instructors who are knowledgable and experienced members in their respective subjects of interest. Focus on the class syllabus is use of demonstrations and interactions to give students a better understanding of the theories and practices required for certification as new Amateur radio operators under federal govermant regulations.
