Sunday, November 12, 2017 - The Richmond Amateur Radio Club RARC) will be hosting a seminar on Amateur radio topics of interest to radio Amateurs and the general public.
The one-day seminar consists of presentations and informal discussions on a variety of Amateur radio topics. The objective of the seminar is to introduce attendees to the broad range of activities and interests in the Amateur radio hobby, show how some of those activities play a role in supporting the local community, and discuss the unique culture of Amateur radio.
Location: Steveston Community Centre, Cohoe Room (upper floor)
Address: 4111 Moncton St. (east of No.1 Rd.), Richmond, BC
Time: 9 AM to 4 PM (lunch break from noon to 1 PM)
Fee: $5 (beverages available - no lunch provided)

Coffee, select beverages and water will be available. RARC is trying to make the seminar a 'zero waste' event so please bring your own favourite cup, mug, container to reduce created waste.
Light snacks will be provided but lunch will NOT be served. The seminar location is right in the heart of Steveston Village that has a plethora of eateries to fulfill everyone's culinary desires. Map of Steveston to come.
